Verizon will be the first US carrier to deliver the BlackBerry Storm and it's expected to be on shelves sometime in early November. Outside of the US, the standard is GSM and the Verizon Storm is CDMA flavored, so where does that leave the rest of the world. It appears that RIM has GSM version of the Storm already in the works as evidenced by the leaked datasheet. This could be marketed as the Thunder, but it's definitely in the BlackBerry 9500 family.

Safe to say that once big red finishes with their BlackBerry 9530 exclusive, that you can expect to see a GSM variant find it's way to AT&T. Of course, AT&T will have their hands full this fall with the release of the BlackBerry Bold.
