Just a few days ago, we mentioned that T-Mobile is preparing for a February 18th release of the BlackBerry Curve 8900. Now comes word that the release date has been moved up to February 11th. Those of you looking for the ultimate Valentine's Day gift, can look no further.

Engadget is reporting that according to a well placed source, the BlackBerry Bold will release in a CDMA version on Sprint Wireless. The Sprint version of the BlackBerry Bold will feature EV-DO Rev. A, more memory and a Sprint UI. It's also expected to be a global phone allowing for SIM card usage out of the US.

BGR has gotten their hands on a T-Mobile release schedule for winter handset releases. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 is listed with a February 18th release date. Those waiting for a Bold-like experience in a smaller package will get their wish come mid-February. Of course, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 will not include 3G, but we're not complaining.

Just a few weeks ago, SlingMedia promised the release of SlingPlayer Mobile beta on December 30th. According to their homepage, it's now available, yet download links are nowhere to be found. We expect this will be corrected shortly and the downloading will commence. You can download directly to your BlackBerry via their mobile site.

It's official, SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry will be available as a public beta starting on December 30th. Sling Media announced early in the year they were working on a version for the BlackBerry, but up until now access to the beta was limited. SlingPlayer Mobile allows you to watch and control your home TV and DVR via your Slingbox (sold seperately).
