The BlackBerry 8520, codenamed Gemini, is reportedly headed to T-Mobile later this year. The BlackBerry 8520 features a new optical trackball and will be aimed at budget conscious smartphone buyers. The BlackBerry 8520 is an EDGE device that features a 320x240 display and a 2-megapixel camera. The cats at CrackBerry have managed to get their hands on one and have a comprehensive review months before the release.

TetherBerry, the application that allows you to use your BlackBerry as a modem, has just started a public beta of their Mac client. TetherBerry allows you to access the Internet on your Mac laptop through your BlackBerry's data plan anywhere there is cellular coverage. The app is compatible with all BlackBerries.

A new updated theme has been released by Music's BlackBerry that effectively gives the look and feel of Apple's Leopard OS X desktop. The theme features reflective icons that are changeable and the dock remains in place should you change the background. Apple Leopard OS X theme supports the BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Curve, BlackBerry 8800 and BlackBerry Pearl. Please check site for OS requirements.

Vodafone has released BlackBerry Storm OS 4.7.0.141. This will only work on the BlackBerry Storm 9500 on Vodafone. Please do not install this if you are a Verizon customer using the BlackBerry Storm 9530.
