Finally, we can put the rumors to rest when it comes to the release date for the BlackBerry Storm. Verizon has confirmed that the BlackBerry Storm will release on November 21st both online and in retail stores. Price will be $199.99 on new 2-year contract after a $50 MIR. We've also received word that Verizon will be packaging an 8GB microSD card with each Storm. This puts the Storm in line to compete with the juggernaut that is the iPhone 3G.
BGR has uncovered an internal Verizon document that details the release dates for the BlackBerry Storm. The on sale date for the BlackBerry Storm will be Monday, November 24th.
Stores will be opening one hour early than normal. Price according to the tipster is around $199 after MIR with a 2-year contract.
