According to a document that outlines Verizon's online training schedule, employees can take part in a BlackBerry Storm course on October 17th. The course concludes on November 2nd. We had been hearing rumblings of a November 1st launch and this latest information falls in line with that release date. No word yet on price from either RIM or Verizon.

Verizon will be the first US carrier to deliver the BlackBerry Storm and it's expected to be on shelves sometime in early November. Outside of the US, the standard is GSM and the Verizon Storm is CDMA flavored, so where does that leave the rest of the world. It appears that RIM has GSM version of the Storm already in the works as evidenced by the leaked datasheet. This could be marketed as the Thunder, but it's definitely in the BlackBerry 9500 family.
