Still months away from release, but BGR have got their hands on the new BlackBerry Niagra 9630. We expect the BlackBerry Niagra 9630 to find it's way into Verizon stores sometime in May. So, what does BGR think of the newest BlackBerry?

The BlackBerry Niagra 9630 will reportedly land at Verizon Wireless this May. The BlackBerry Niagra is a slimmer version of the Curve, but takes keyboard cues from the BlackBerry Bold. The upcoming BlackBerry Niagra is a 3G World Phone, allowing owners to use it on Verizon EVDO network in the US and on GPS systems in Europe.

More news coming out on the upcoming BlackBerry for Verizon, codenamed 'Niagra'. BGR sources call it a cross between the BlackBerry Bold and the Curve 8900. Bigger than a Curve, but smaller than the Bold. Sound good? It will bring the Bold's 480x320 high resolution screen and the 624MHz CPU. Release date still appears to be on target for May.
