Just a few days ago, we mentioned that T-Mobile is preparing for a February 18th release of the BlackBerry Curve 8900. Now comes word that the release date has been moved up to February 11th. Those of you looking for the ultimate Valentine's Day gift, can look no further.

BGR has gotten their hands on a T-Mobile release schedule for winter handset releases. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 is listed with a February 18th release date. Those waiting for a Bold-like experience in a smaller package will get their wish come mid-February. Of course, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 will not include 3G, but we're not complaining.

Finally, we can put the rumors to rest when it comes to the release date for the BlackBerry Storm. Verizon has confirmed that the BlackBerry Storm will release on November 21st both online and in retail stores. Price will be $199.99 on new 2-year contract after a $50 MIR.  We've also received word that Verizon will be packaging an 8GB microSD card with each Storm. This puts the Storm in line to compete with the juggernaut that is the iPhone 3G.

RIM and T-Mobile Germany have announced the launch of the new BlackBerry Curve 8900. The newest Curve features a host of upgraded features.

BGR has uncovered an internal Verizon document that details the release dates for the BlackBerry Storm. It seems the November 20th date we've been hearing is actually a "pre-launch" event for high end Verizon customers. This event is not for the general public. The on sale date for the BlackBerry Storm will be Monday, November 24th.

Stores will be opening one hour early than normal. Price according to the tipster is around $199 after MIR with a 2-year contract. The latest Storm is "incredibly stable" and the touch input is "very much improved". There you have it, the latest BlackBerry Storm release news. If and when we get the official word from either RIM or Verizon, we'll pass it along.

According to Verizon's test site, the BlackBerry Storm price will be $219.99 with a 2-year contract. Of course, there could be a rebate that we don't know about just yet. With just a few days to what we believe will the official release of the Storm, it's safe to say the price will be around $200, give or take $20. A small price to pay for the world's first touch screen BlackBerry.

Verizon is expected to release the much anticipated BlackBerry Storm on Monday, November 17th. Yes, it appears we are just days way from the release of the Storm. This news comes by way of a ZDNet who happened upon the info while speaking to a customer service rep. Of course, the rep could have the incorrect information, but here's what we know:

  • Verizon has completed Storm training with their tech support staff
  • The company is planning to make the BlackBerry Storm available next Monday
  • There is pent up demand for the Storm from anxious folks with expiring contracts
With the new Verizon BlackBerry Storm commercial making the rounds last night during primetime, it's safe to say the Storm itself might be ready for primetime. I happened to visit Best Buy today who gladly accepted my Storm pre-order, but they did not offer up any information on the release.
