Still no official release date from Verizon, but they are sure ready to get people riled up for the BlackBerry Storm. They debuted a new commercial today featuring the Storm and highlighting the new virtual keyboard.
According to Verizon sources, the BlackBerry Storm release has been delayed until November 23rd due to a last minute software glitch that needed to be corrected. Sure that's big news, but even bigger news is the price. The BlackBerry Storm will be priced at $199.99 for individuals and "no more than $89.99 for businesses". RIM is serious about not losing business customers to the iPhone. Just weeks away from the release and the battle royale between the Storm and the iPhone.
Best Buy is now taking pre-orders for the Verizon BlackBerry Storm. They have yet to provide an actual release date, but of course we continue to hear November 14th. To lock up a Storm, you'll need to provide them with a $50 refundable deposit. Best Buy will guarantee that you will get a BlackBerry Storm when it's released. Pricing is expected to be in the range of $199 and $299 with a 2-year commitment.
Verizon has yet to announce the pricing of the BlackBerry Storm, but we can speculate on the price thanks to a contest terms for Verizon's BlackBerry Storm scavenger hunt. The guesstimate is of the average retail price will be $499 ($549 -$50 gift card).

According to a document that outlines Verizon's online training schedule, employees can take part in a BlackBerry Storm course on October 17th. The course concludes on November 2nd. We had been hearing rumblings of a November 1st launch and this latest information falls in line with that release date. No word yet on price from either RIM or Verizon.
