Actually after reading a bit more, the asterisk might be for this:
* Video recording requires a microSD memory card, sold separately
If so, that would mean they have the updated software already and before many others!!! Or they might tell you that it will be available soon.
The big question with Verizon is.....what will they be disabling that other carriers don't.
