OK, I think I have familiarized myself with this process, and have set up my system accordingly, to achieve the goal of Seamless Synchronization between Exchange PIM and Personal PIM. I have 6 calenders that I synch, using wireless device as hub.
1. Turn off wireless synch via App/Menu/(Cal, Choose Calendar)/Wireless sync:Off.
2. Repeat this process for all apps (Address book, 6 Calendars, Tasks, Memos)
3. Plug in and synch with BDM.
4. Verify no conflicts or duplications
5. Unplug Blackberry
6. Turn on Wireless synch via App/Menu/(Cal, choose calendar)/Wireless sync:On
7. Verify that BES is not re-synching.

The first time I did this I lost connection with the BES and had to contact IT to have device reset and new BES password assigned to me. My device is working now, but I have a little in trepidation. I have approximately 2000 contacts, 300 appointments, 496 memos and between 5 to 10 active tasks a day that I balance between 3 databases including BES, Outlook 2007, and Google (Google cal then syncs with 4 calenders that my family use. It just takes a lot of time and effort when something goes down. On my HTC Touch all I did was use OggSync for all Google apps, Microsoft Exchange 2007 for Exchange info, and Microsoft Mobile device center. All I had to do after initial set up was plug in my phone and everything synched. Currently I am using Google synch (which works fantastically) as well as the solution above, yet it is still very cumbersome and requires more monitoring than I am used to.

Is there a quicker way, even with using different 3rd party apps? I would like to get to where I was with the WM6 device, where I just set it up initially and let it run.

Thanks again for any input.
