Hi:
I too am new and the change has been easy and hard. Here is what I have learned:
1) Depends on what you want to do. It seems the included applications open the Excel and Word documents in a reader. And there it stops. I am not sure about Access. Appears there are no editing capabilities. Note to self....Speak with IT. They said I would be able to edit Word docs. I was able to copy the Word Attachment, albeit crudely, but then I pasted into the MemoPad application to edit. Not at all cumbersome and quite convenient....Not! I am hoping I am just too new to be in the know yet and there is a better way. However, it is apparent this ain't no DocsToGo

.
2) Don't have Verizon, but I would be willing to bet there will be a charge...<turn off sarcasm>
3) Again, I am new at this, but I remember Palm app prices. Take a look at
this from a quick search. Again, I have to spend some time learning first. I hope that isn't the average price for productivity software.
This looks pretty interesting and it is nice it will save to the card and not use up memory. Looks like it will allow for all your named doc types as well as PDF.
Maybe this is reasonably priced. I wish there were more hours to investigate....
Your mileage may vary.....
Let us know what you find out or decide.

My questions are.
1. Will these applications still be available, with my 8830 or is there some software that I need to purchase?
2. Can I access these programs through the VZAccess manger?
3. If I no longer have access to Microsoft office what are my options?
