I am coming real close to trying the upgrade. As it turns out the travel week had no extra time to do it.

I really started to get the bug tonight, but luckily it is past my bedtime. Good thing I was on the home PC and not the company laptop, which is where the BB is installed. I probably would have done the download in preparation.

Earliest it might happen will be Monday. Tomorrow is a family BBQ party and Monday I start to pack the truck for the daughter's move back to college for her junior year. YIKES!!!

Hey, it's all good...

Enjoy the BBQ, we're probably going to hit the pool one last time before it closes for the summer, geesh the thought of taking my daughter to college is really scary, she's 13 and I know I'll be typing those words somewhere sooner than I'd like to, best of luck to you and your daughter and Happy Labor Day!!

Hi braxtoq:

The holiday weekend has been FANTASTIC, thanks! I hope your was great too.

Your daughter is only 13, but you are correct, it goes really fast. These are still the good years and wait until the mouth kicks in!!!!

See you soon I hope....

when i was going to college, my mom had my bags pack and me ready to go....but i must agree with Steve, I remember when my lil sister was 13 and everything was great. Now she is 17 and a serious pain. She just won't shut up for nothing...

Default Anyone Still Waiting for Sprint 4.5...

Thought I would revive this thread to double post about the Sprint version of 4.5 being available for the RIM site, NOT from the Sprint site yet. The new version is labeled as Sprint branded...

Wonder if anyone else was still waiting for it like me.....I will be installing a bit later...

as long as you are connected to your company network and logged in to your Outlook account the BB automatically reactivates using the Outlook credentials after the OS has completed with the update!

I have upgraded twice using this method and it has worked flawlessly without the need to contact IT for the requisite grilling for reasons why I would need to reactivate.
braxtoq, I finally did it and your instructions worked well. See here for the proper thank you.

I hope all is well.....
