    Best Skins Ever Screen Protector for Bold

    Received it today. The directions say to turn off your device and not turn it back on for 24 hours!!! How can I not turn on and use my bold for 24 hours? There's no way. Just No Way. Plus I have to remove the Seido Innocase which I understand is problematic due to the easily beakable tabs. Looks like I am SOL on the screen protection. The Innocase works great though - as long as I don't have to remove it. I've gotten myself into a heck of a pickle trying to overly protect my preciousssssssssss.

    Whoa--slow down son!!
    I turned my phone off early Saturday evening, put the screen protector on it & left if there untouched till around noonish the next day. I didn't miss too many calls, txts, etc doing it that way. I figure with the furnace running & no extra moisture in the air it had plenty of time to adhere.
    Just pick a "slow time" in your weekly schedule.

    I had to tell several friends that I was turning off my phone & I better not get a lot of txts. They were good for a change. Just letting you know you may have too warn ppl in your life you will not be there for awhile.

    the mere idea of turning off the BB gives me the chills :}

    (i seem to be missing why the phone has to be off and left off <brrr> for a screen protector/case ? it needs to "settle" ?)

    It's a "wet" application that needs time to "become one with the screen".
    It really is a good product.
    You just have to pick a good time for the install so you can let it adhere to the screen. That's why I did an overnight install on a slow weekend.
    Anyway, that worked for me...

    Honestly, I don't think it's necessary to wait that long with the phone off. I think you're just not supposed to so you give the solution enough time to dry and you don't mess up the screen protector in the process until it's done. Also, I'm sure BSE or ZAGG wouldn't want to be responsible for phones that suddenly "not work" after installation of their product.

    Thinking about firing up one of my old Treos for this process (ugh!). Geekster - that's so cute you called me "son." I've never been called son before. Dang-- Nobody noticed I found a picture of Gollum holding what looks like it could be a BB.
    Still not sure how to remove the Innocase w/o breaking the tabs. There are no instructions anywhere.

    I noticed your avatar but forgot to say anything about it. But I didn't notice the BB. Nice avatar.
    No one has called me "son" either unless it had other words following it including "of a b....." but I digress.
    Did you get your case off yet? Can you take a small screw driver and kind of put some pressure on one side of the case & try to separate the the 2 halves w/o breaking the tabs. If nothing else send them an email & tell them what you are trying to do. It can't be the first email they have had with this problem.
    Good Luck....
