speaking of BT... i have a Plantronics 520 (great headset, not wearing it today to "test" battery life) but when i do use it, it only gives beeps when i get a call... not the actual ring tone as i was used to with the Moto Q, is this a setting that i can change ?

I use the Plantronics 640 and it rings fine. I am not aware of any option to change that, but it doesn't mean there isn't one, especially with the Storm. Did it exhibit this behavior from the start or did it work and then stop?

Any possibility the volume control could be turned down and that affecting the ring? Are you using a stock ringer or a custom one on the Storm?

been like that from the get-go.. and i use a default ringer (for now), i will dig through some settings on the Storm, thx...
