Hi Steve and welcome to EB:

I understand this is not an uncommon complaint with the Innocases. They offer very good pressure, but can be very difficult to remove, especially when new.

I believe you have to wedge something between the two pieces of plastic and then just pull and pull until they snap apart, which can sometimes feel quite violent. You may need someone with longer nails if you don't have any and just work with it a bit.

I also hear that Seido was experimenting with making the locking tabs less robust when they made the Pre version and that turned out to be a disater as the thinner tabs began breaking, but they did replace them for customers who communicated the problem.

Have you contacted Seido to see if they can offer a special trick?

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for the reply. I called them after I gave them ample time to answer my email. Basically, you’re correct. I just put a knife blade between the halves on the bottom and pried it off with minimal damage.

    Case

If you take of the battery door, and wiggle the extended battery from side to side it should come out of the phone without harming the sides.

Feel free to email or message us if you have any other questions or problems.

    Regards,
    Seidio
