Bold and Curve 8900 OS 5.0.0.93 leaked

Found through the usual channels of course.

I'm passing as Facebook still isn't compatible with 5.0 but from what i've read a good amount of apps are still functional. Twitterberry and Pandora both work well with it.

Would like to hear if anyone installs it and how they are liking 5.0 over 4.6

I recently read elsewhere that another version was leaked (v5.0.0.190). From what I read, it seems as though this version is more stable than the previous leaked version. However I'm seeing that there are conflicting reports as to whether third party apps (such as google maps/talk) work with the leaked OS 5. Has anyone else checked it out? If so, any thoughts?

I thought the Facebook version 1.6.0.22 was made to be used with BB OS 5.0 and ONLY 5.0...

I was tempted to try the latest leaked OS5 (.238) - but too many conflicting reports as to what 3rd party apps work and don't work. Nevermind the fact that BBM v5 supposedly doesn't work with the leaked version, either. I guess it may just be best to wait for the official OS 5, which is supposed to be out before the end of 2009. How I long for threaded text messaging . . .

Wrong... The leaked version of BBM 5.0 doesn't work with the leaked version of the 5.0 OS. The official version of BBM 5.0 does work on the leaked 5.0 OS. I have both up and running (flawlessly) on my Bold.

I actually learned this yesterday (just couldn't wait for threaded text messaging!) as I installed the leaked .238 and then installed BBM v5. And yes, both are running smoothly. I'm having trouble doing the browser fix, though. I tried BBSAK with no luck. So on to try CrackUtil.
