See....a perfect example of what I was saying before. I posted the solution for exactly what was asked and in a minute a mod HAD to point out that you can receive that kind of file, but you can't send it from a BlackBerry.

That is not what chiswick had asked. Why was that necessary?

    Hi and welcome to EB:

Odd as it sounds, I don't believe you can transfer a single contact by BT. You can have success with sending the whole Address Book or just certain categories, but it doesn't always work with every other kind of phone.

Once you have paired the other device and saved it, Manage Connections > Bluetooth Options > Highlight the desired paired device > BB Menu key > Transfer Address Book. Works with some, not others. That option was actually intended for transferring the whole Address Book to a car system via BT.

You can send individual contacts to another BlackBerry using BB Messenger if the recipient is in your BB Messenger contact list. Highlight the contact > BB Menu key > Send to Messenger Contact

Easiest way to transfer a single contact is to attach it to an email or MMS and sending it that way. Highlight the contact > BB Menu key > Send As Attachment

I hope this makes some sense to you. If not let us know.

Or you could try this app, BBCard, available from the EB Software Store. Not free, but works...And I think there is a free trial to make sure you like it.
