No I haven't used his Storm since, and to be honest my Boss doesn't do a lot of typing. He is using his mostly as a PDA/Phone rather than a Smartphone. So he really just needs to touch the center of the screen to choose apps and browse.
Is there an issue in reviews with using the sides of the screen?

Not so much the sides, but on the corners, clicking tends to be much stiffer on some Storms.

well since -from what i read- the case is thicker then some others, it could interfere with the characters immediately next/bordering to the case, see what i mean... (like in landscape the Q,A, !?123, shift & sym.. etc.)

I follow. That makes some sense too, expecially if your a fast Storm typer. I've gotten pretty quick myself and I have no doubt that important keys like the return or backspace would become frustrating.

exactly... well, it seems like Case-Mate has a decent return policy so i might just try it.

I really hope the Case Mate doesn't have this issue. That's one case I wouldn't mind actually having on my Storm.

Guessing that means you bought a new case? I think later tonight I'll buy a new case, from the EB store of course. Not sure which one yet though.

Just to let you know, I recently purchased an OtterBox Defender for my Storm. They are in the EB store here. It is bulky. I was fairly quick with the typing before, and it did slow me down at first. But I have adapted quickly. You will get used to any typing issues you may run into with a new case.
Think I'm sarcastic? Watch me pretend to care.
