Just saw this in the store. Does anyone have this yet, and any reviews? It looks nice, and I would like to get it, but I don't want to drop that kind of money unless it's worth it. Any input would be appreciated.

Bought 2 of them from the EB store (For my phone & husbands) & want to tell you just close your eyes, pull out your CC & do it. I dropped my phone at the store the other day & someone came walking past & kicked it down the aisle. I'm a little panicky & the person kept saying how sorry they were. Picked it up, pushed some buttons & everything works. Very much worth the money. The "sleeve" is tricky to get on & takes some time b/c you want to the least amount of air bubbles on the screen as possible. Highly recommend it.

Don't need to close my eyes. I don't mind spending the money if it is well spent. Sounds like it would be.

I am about to drop the dime on this case as well. I work in a very dusty environment so I need it to be as near completely seal as it can be and still function. Right now my Berry is resting in a ziplock bag (it impresses the ladies) protected by a small group of ninjas. I am not prone to drop it but dust and bump damage (i lay down a lot, don't ask) are my biggest concerns.

mouseboots, Otterbox has been a must-have for maximum protection since my Treo days. They have developed a reputation for the best protection around and it is well deserved.

You may not make a habit of dropping your BB, but you know what? Accidents happen and the Otterbox gives you more than a fighting chance.

Let us know what you think once you receive it.....

Well the otter is on its way... Now to bug the h*ll out of the UPS guy until it gets here I ordered the heavy duty belt clip so it will stay nice a tight on the taci-cool belt when I jump in and out of the Bat-mobile.

You JUST had to say DON'T ASK but I already know so neener neener.
I am actually considering getting an otterbox myself (dont ask but it has nothing to do with lying down but a lot to do with knowing I am rough on my devices)

I got mine in the mail today..... And all I can say is WOW. This is a well thought out and designed piece of functioning art. It's not nearly as bulky as others have claimed it is as it fits my "man hands" nicely. The phone works just as it did before putting on the Otter box. I did reset the screen sensitivity to 5 and it works well, quick and on target. I also ordered the heavy duty holster as it will allow me to secure the holster to a duty belt up to 2.25" and still has the racketing function. All in all a great product worth every dollar spent. I am now an OTTERBOX believer.

I know that I was impressed with the Otterbox for the Storm. After three weeks in the rain, mud and overall nastiness of Camp Shelby, MS none of the Storm users lost their Storms. I splurged and got one for my Curve as soon as I could.

There is one thing that I do not like about the Otterbox. It does not lend well to one hand removal from the holster. My uniform belt is just a tad wider than the belt clip so the whole holster comes off when I need to take my phone out of the holster. This is slightly annoying, especially when I am driving. And, it is definitely not for pocket wear.

Overall, I am satisfied with the Otterbox. I think that most people who need the protection would be too.

My Berry, you can order a Heavy Duty holster. They will work better with the wider belt you will be wearing, and should prevent your issue. They are nice.
