Bluetooth with Blackberry 8330 Sprint Curve

I recently purchased a Blackberry 8330 on Sprint. It is fantastic. all the features are incredible. I have set 7100 bb up with embeddid bt chips before. I am attempting to pair my Blackberry with my computer so that is syncs automatically when I come in range. I am using a BT dongle: TrendNet TBW-101UB) on my laptop running Vista Home Basic. I have installed Blackberry Desktop Manger (BDM) 4.3.0.17. I can find and pair but BDM does not recognized the phone for sync. I have gone to blackberry.com and installed the MS Bluetooth patch. Still I get a warning that Windows can not find the drivers. It will sync with the cable but not with the BT connection. Does anyone know the fix for this? Thanks for any help.

Hi and welcome to EB:

I can't really add a lot here, but if you can't get it working after reviewing those two articles, you might think about two things:
1) I know that using DM to do any software installs requires you have the same OS your handheld has installed to your PC. Did you install your OS to your PC? You can find it here.

2) DM v4.3 is known to be quite buggy. You might try removing and installing 4.2 SP2.
