Default browser setting

Iam trying to get onto my banks site. It says I need 128 bit encription. I already went into the settings and set everything to high security, however, it still won't allow me in. For s and g's I downloaded Opera and I can get on with that, I'm not impressed with mini still from the Palm days. Has anyone else had this issue or know how to resolve it?

You might try googling to see if your bank offers a mobile site, mine just started and it works perfectly on my Curve. I am just using the regular browser, I am gun shy with Opera.

Well I tried that, no go. I guess I will keep Opera for that. I'm not a big fan of it at all.

Does that mean your bank doesn't offer mobile banking for BlackBerrys or they say they do but it doesn't work on yours without OperaMini?

My bank doesn't have a mobile site. But Icould access it from my Treo with Blazer, and now with Opera. I saw on another site it said to check all the. Boxes in one of the windows, set the security to high. I'm certain there is going to be something I come to that will fix the problem.

Don't be! Opera is a great browser. Okay maybe it isn't great, but it is better then the one that comes with the BlackBerry. I haven't had any complaints.

I found a browser called Bolt, that seems to work really well... Much better than Opera Mini!... Where as it doesn't seem to be as fast... It's still better as far as the way it operates.
