What is it you are trying to transfer and from what device to your 8520? Have you already paired the devices and added to your trusted devices?

After pairing the devices go to your Media Icon and the highlight the item to move > BB Menu key > Send using Bluetooth and you should be able to send it.
What device are you trying to send to?
Remember that items with a small Lock Icon in the locked position will NOT be able to be sent. Those are usually BB Ringtones that can't be shared and possibly iTunes songs.....

I was trying to send to and receive from a 8320 and a Lg (not sure the model)
The items can be freely sent but its just always failing. Looks like I'm going to have to try and work my magic

Bluetooth can be a bit funky at times. Not all devices play nicely with each other.
If you can, try sending to a different device to see if it works. Or, try sending from the LG to your BB to see if that might work....

You could try to bluetooth it to the computer, set a folder up for these items... Then bring sync to the BB that way. If your puter doesn't have bluetooth a dongle should do the trick. Wal Mart has then for around 15.00. If I have this correct you're going from lg to the bb. Another option for the photos is to email them to your bb.
