Is it pocketable?
I've been considering a replacement for my current phone, a Nokia 6280 which has developed some faults (freezing randomly, keypad deactivating the top buttons when used,etc.). I've considered both the Nokia 6288 and the Blackberry Curve. Here are the way I see the two:
Nokia 6288
Pros:- Smaller and lighter
- Cheaper
Cons:- No built-in auto-email fetching
- Lacks QWERTY keyboard
Blackberry Curve
Pros:- Built-in email fetching
- QWERTY keyboard
Cons:- Bulkier and heavier
- More expensive
So, the deal-breaker is whether or not the Curve is easily pocketable or at least bearable to carry around in my pocket.

I definately think that you will be impressed with this phone and that it will do just what you want it to do. I think it might be a tight fit for your pocket but you should not have too much of a problem getting it to fit.

I have a case for this that I use to carry it around in - you could consider getting one of those.
If that is something that you really don't want, then it might not be the best choice for you - it is really a bit too big to carry around in your pocket for very long...

It depends....
If you wear baggy clothing...it should fit in your pocket, but I would make sure that I had a protective case around it, or at the very least a protective skin (my favorite is www.bestskinsever.com).
Plus, Blackberrys rarely lock up unless it is the fault of suspect 3rd party software.
Good luck!

I might look into getting one, as I do carry a case with me most of the times anyway. Another option is that I will probably be able to fit it in my jacket pocket, as my Palm TX fits fine. I might just have to avoid putting it in my trouser pocket.

For casual, I generally wear jeans, which probably don't count as baggy clothing. I will probably buy a protective case, as I did with my Palm, because handhelds do have a habit of getting scratched and turning on in your pocket.
What i'd like to see is a 3G Blackberry Curve, and that's what i'm really waiting for.
