I think that may be the reason. Once you get your card and install a few ring tones to it I believe you will find the Send Using Bluetooth choice will automagically appear.

Okay braxtoq, back to you....Are the ring tones you are trying to send installed to the device or the card????

Just checked my 8130 and I cannot send ringtones using bluetooth either, it's not listed as an option

Sorry for the late return but the Media Card did allow me to send songs via bluetooth. And I am now very happy with my Blackberry. Thanks guys

SteveTaz, you are one busy cat on this site! Thanks for your great insight and assistance to everyone, I just stumbled back on this thread and checked my ringtones, you're correct, they have the send using bluetooth option, preloaded ones do not.

Well I have been quite busy this month, trying to keep the income steady, seems as though too many people are buying into this little economic downturn, I'll be glad when we get a steady dose of good news and people start buying into that, then I think we'll start to turn things around, in the meantime it's back to the grindstone! Steve. I will check about them receiving but it does not give me the option to send. And the tones are tones I got from myxertones.com. I can send pictures though

before i got my blackberry i had a sony ericson and when i downloaded ringtones from myxertones.com it would not let me send them either. i think its a block from the actuall website. i dont know if its different with smartphones but i had the same problem with my sony. i havent tried downloading any on my blackberry yet to see if it does the same thing
