Newbie needing Calendar Help
On my today screen calendar, I am only seeing 2 appointments. There are appts in between these 2 appts but they are not showing.
Can someone tell me how to get all my appts to show as the days occur.

I have been having a similar issue, when I make Marriott reservations, I use the link on the reservation page to add the reervation to Outlook, everything else I add to Outlook shows up on my BB calendar, but Marriott's reservation does not, still trying to figure out the problem. One more thing, when I make the reservation through my companies travel service, I can add the reservation using Sabre's virtually there service and it shows up on the BB calendar, interesting, huh?

Hi and welcome to EB:
Can you tell us a bit about the appointments that show and those that don't? Are any of them recurring events? Could any of the missing items be tasks instead of appointments?
What program (Outlook, Lotus, etc.) and version are you syncing with. Are you on BIS or BES?
Have you tried the usual fix, a battery pull? Has this been happening for awhile or did it just start after working properly?
Oh, and what BB and software version are you using?
Thanks,
SteveTaz

SteveTaz, I am using a BB Curve 8330 with the 4.3 OS.
The appts that I can see have a start time and end time. They are recurring. The ones I can't see are recurring and they do not have a start or end time because they are all day, multi-day appointments. They are all appointments. I can see any appointments that have a start and end time.
I am using Outlook 2007 and I am using BIS due to having the BB HTML viewer.
I have pulled the battery but the same thing is happening.
Thanks, mickeyk

Hi mickeyk:
Are you using the Dimension Today theme? I believe the all-day appointments not appearing may be a bug in that theme.
Can you try another theme to see if it resolves the issue? I am not sure if the Dimension Zen or Icon themes will correct it, but if that is all you have, give it a try.
I suppose you could also try marking one of them as a timed appointment to see if that solves/changes it. Then you would know it probably is a bug.
If it corrects the problem and you like the Today format or if it doesn't and the problem is with the Dimension series you may have to download a new theme. Take a look at this site for free themes. You just have to register.
Keep us posted.....

Been awhile braxtoq:
Same question to you. Are they being entered as an all-day event, but the others that show are timed events? Do you use the Dimension theme?

It has, been lurking mostly, hope all is well SteveTaz,
The missing calendar entries were entered automatically as all-day events, that span multiple days, I changed to single days, entered a test all-day event in Outlook and reconciled, test event shows up missing entries did not, then tried changing from all-day to 9 hour day, reconciled, still missing on BB, was using Dimension theme, but changed to default Verizon theme and still missing appt's do not show up on BB, figure it has something to do with software Marriott uses to automatically load events.

stevetaz, I am not using the DimensionToday Theme. I am using a rainbow theme that I purchased. However I have tried the other today themes and the same thing happens.
To fix the problem I changed the all day task to a being time of 12 am and end time of 1130 and it shows up on today theme, but if I make it back to an all day task it does.

Hi mickeyk:
Did you try any of the other type themes such as zen or icon? Could be a "today" issue. Hey, at least you found a way to get them to show.
Just curious....

Hi braxtoq:
So your test all-day event did show up, even on the Dimension theme?
It does sound like the encoding Marriott is using could be in play. Perhaps you should try Hilton?
Actually, I use Marriott (Courtyard usually) exclusively and I have enough points to stay in Tahiti for three weeks. If only I could afford the airfare now....
Please try posting every now and then instead of just lurking....We miss you!

stevetaz I have tried all of the themes and the same thing happens, so I guess I'll just put a start and end time on all of my appointments
Thanks for your help
