Phone is wont call/receive after activation

Hey all i just got a 8300 world edition and when i got the phone i was able to activate it on verizon no problem. then when i went to make a call i kept getting call failed. i then went back to my old phone and called verizon. they tried to activate it online but nothing happend. for some reason it seems like the phone is being improperly programed on verizons end. has any one had this problme or know how to fix it.

Can you clarify the model you have? The BB World Editions are the 88XX series and in order to work on the Verizon network it should be a VZW branded 8830.

The 8300 is a GSM Curve and would not operate on VZW's network.
