Need help about browser configration

Hello i need help about Blackberry browser setup.The default browser doesn't work.If i want to trying change option its nothing happened.After that i m install opera.Now i m browsing but i can't use any messenger in my mobile.When i m trying to sign in its required default configuration.Can anybody tell me please how to use default browser????

Hi and welcome to EB:

Before we do anything, in order to use the BB Browser and Messenger, you MUST have a BB Data plan with your provider. Not just a data plan, a BB Data plan.

Do you have a BB data plan and who is your carrier?

Sorry. Not trying to annoy you. There is often confusion regarding the BB Data plan vs a "regular" data plan so I was trying to be very specific, pehaps too much so...

A BB Data plan is unlike standard plans because the device and account is provisioned to pass through the RIM servers. That is how they maintain such a high level of security and that is how the Push Email system operates.

A BB handheld with out a BB Data plan can work as a telephone, SMS and can access the Internet (may be limited) using a browser like Opera Mini, but you will not get the true BB experience, including Push Email, the BlackBerry Browser, BB Messenger and PIN messaging. A WiFi connection can also work if your handheld is so equipped, but it will not connect through RIM.

The direct connection to RIM servers is also why providers often charge more for the BB Data plans. They have to pay RIM.

Phone was locked by vodafone.I m unlock it via code after then i m using another sim in Bangladesh.In bangladesh sim operator didn't help me.Bcz they sale thiyer oun Sell with connection.Sir could you tell me please how can i use just messenger as like opra?????

If I am understanding your question, that you want to use BB Messenger without a BB Data Plan, you can't. Reread post #4, above.

If you have a text messaging plan you can use the SMS function (I think). While in your email Inbox, press the BB Menu key (left of the trackball) > scroll to Compose SMS Text. If you don't see that option your account may not be provisioned for SMS texting by your provider. Or you may have chosen to not pay for a texting option.

Other IM programs may work if you have accounts with them such as MSN, Yahoo Chat, MySpace Chat, Google Chat, AIM, AOL, etc. You could sign up for a free trial of Beejive to see if it will work with those, but only if you have an account. Bejive uses data, not SMS texts so you might have luck, but if it does work you only have a limited trial, maybe 7 days and will then have to pay for the program.
