I have PacMan installed from that site. Works great and let's face it... it's PacMan, how can you go wrong.

Hi hozer and Welcome to EB:

There are two install methods. Neither involve the SD Card. That should be coming when the long-awaited 4.5XXXX OS is released, hopefully in my lifetime (kidding).

Easiest is to use the Over The Air method. You download directly onto your BB from that website using the OTA link. It downloads and installs with no muss and no fuss.

Second, which is used if you do not have a data plan , is to download and install using the BB Desktop Manager. The Application Loader in the DM would be used and your device must be connected to your PC via the cable. The PC downloads the necessary files and the Application Loader performs the install.

BTW....the BB is not like a Treo if that is what you were used to. Currently the SD Card can only be used to store media files such as pics, music, ringtones and videos.

I do plan to post some detailed instructions on installing apps, but I just can't find the time....yet. Do take a look at the tips and tricks thread I started in the General Discussions section. Some helpful stuff in there if you are new to the BB platform.

Please come back and let us know how you make out or post another question if you have.....

I have pacman on my curve; just for those in-between times, (so I tell myself!). Thanks steve for your specific instructions on app installations. It helped me greatly. I do believe you should do a sticky on the ins and outs of downloads. You seem to be answering the question to a lot of people (myself included). I understand time is always an issue though; but it would be great to see. Hozer, hope you get the game!
