Beejive IM Beta for Storm Available
Go to www.beejive.com/stormbeta on your Storm's browser to get a free download and check it out.
I'm personally very excited for this, as Beejive's IM clients have always been nothing short of fantastic. Downloading now.

What I've found in the beta:
- Same real-time IMing like other official Beejive IM apps.
- Minor GUI bugs that don't effect usage whatsoever.
- It kills battery life, and to whoever that installs it, make sure you fully shut down the app or else it will keep draining your battery throughout the day. I made that mistake yesterday and today and just realized now why my battery was draining so quickly (thanks to MeterBerry).
- And the best thing IMO, it appears to not have any memory leaks.

Sav, thanks for the insight.
Do you think the battery drain is any worse than other similar apps or is it just nature of that kind of app running in the background?

Honestly I can't really say. I've never used any other IM app and left it running like I did with Beejive. The thing is, I wasn't even logged in to AIM. The program was just running in the background. I hope in final builds of Beejive that they work on power management a little more.
