Hi,
In relation to JabpLite, it's not completely bare-bones at least IMHO. The program handles multiple accounts, categories and currencies. Standing Orders (aka scheduled transactions), automatically created on due dates. Regular transactions (ie. transactions you do regularly). Investments. Future Balance Predictions. Net Worth calculations. Import/export QIF files. Backup/restore. Quick start option. Password protection. Syncs with free desktop companion called Jabp, which runs on Windows, Mac, Linux.
Also (for anyone not 100% committed to Blackberry, perish the thought) JabpLite also runs on Windows Mobile, Nokia smartphones (Symbian OS) and most recent Java-enabled 'dumbphones'. Takes advantage of touch-screens where available. You can download the program from the URL below, and there are several different ways to install on a Blackberry, all described in the readme file. Help/support provided in dedicated forum.
Oh, you are right about it being 100% freeware :-)
Best regards,
Malcolm
