being inpatient and want to download the Desktop Manager... is this the correct one: Downloading Desktop Manager 4.7.0 B50 English - With Media Manager.

need to sync the Storm with Outlook 2003..

Hopefully you are only impatient. Sounds like sherri is an inpatient for the last few days though.

Yes, v4.7 will work, but since you should get a CD with the phone to install and connect the Storm to complete the install, choose the sync method and what you want to sync there is really no benefit to install the DM now.

Did you at least get a tracking number so you can track the progress every thirty minutes or so?

Waiting is the hardest.....

no, because i fear it did not ship, i think the VZW site said it ships either the 18th or 19th... plus, i did not fully thought it through because i am having it delivered to my work address.... so if they were planning on a saturday it's not happening :]
