Anyone who is interested, Aerize alerts is giving away 5,000 free licenses today starting at 10am EST. I just did this and it works, got my registered copy for free (man that sounds like an advertisement from one of those get a free PS3 flash adds or something).

Just do the following:

2) Click the "buy" link to add it to your card.

3) Enter coupon code FREE_ALERTS_GIFT and press apply code to receive a 100% discount off the sotware

4) Verifty the total shows as $0.00

5) Checkout as normal, make sure to enter in your device PIN correctly, so that the right registration code can e generated for you.

Hopefully a few people who have been demoing this program, or thinking about it, will get one of the free codes. I'm not 100% sold on the software, but now if I do decide that I can't live without it, I have a license.

thanks indeed.... downloaded it last night and i have 1 issue (when i get an sms and press open it opens my email accounts) never the less, got the FREE code.!

I have a problem with this. I'm trying to do the download thing by sending a text to my phone, but from my phone. It doesn't work, no matter how many times I refresh for a different verification code, it keeps saying it's wrong. :|

Nevermind, I got it. I went to the download page from my computer and I sent it via email to my phone and got it from there.

Just got my first email while using this Alert thing and I gotta say, it works pretty well. I like it a lot.

I agree with the text issue. May email the developer about it. Seems to be sending me to the general messages folde I stead of SMS. As much as I enjoy the program, this takes away one of the best features. I hate having to go to my home screen in order to get to my message. Another nice feature would be a reply lobj on the message, cut out yet another step.

It is still a very nice program and it was great of them to give out some free copies. I will probably use this software more then any of the other gifts I got this year (just don't tell my wife that I said that lol)
