My wife just found a nice one. Its called Poynt. It is sort of a yellowpages/movie finder. It can work with your GPS or just by entering location information such as Postal/Zip code.

My first Storm was stolen from me a few days ago. A fellow Storm owner told me about FREE software called GPS Tracker that you can find in the blackberry storm app world. I have downloaded it and it works GREAT! And did I mention that it's free? I'd like to see them try and steal my phone now! LOL I'll be in a pursuit chase after it...

The company who made this software is instamapper.com - That's also where you go to track your phone. Go there if you're wanting more info but I give it FIVE stars

drumcrazy, I don't want to pee on your parade, but did you see the caution on their site about Verizon devices:
If you have a Verizon phone, it will most likely not work.

HOWEVER, I have a feeling that note is because of VZW's passion for disabling GPS in all their BBs prior to the Storm. I see they do have a special setting requirement for the Storm so it will probably work.

I am also assuming that this will only work if the stolen BB is left ON.

I hope it gives you a little peace of mind....

Exactly. I was a little skeptical about it at first too, based on Verizon's wonderful control-freak history. However, I've been using it for a week now and it works like a charm! Just be sure to follow the how-to guide exactly as it says and no problemo. I've already traveled from TN to KY and it mapped every single step, even tells ya how fast you were going, your altitude, yada yada yada. It's an amazing app and would reccommend it to anyone.

But maybe, just maybe, if they're dumb enough to steal my phone they might be dumb enough to leave it on and try to use it?
