Must have apps on BlackBerry
List your favorites. Mine so far, remember I'm fairly new to BB so I know I haven't even scratched the surface on all the apps out there.
1. Flycast-for streaming music (www.flytunes.fm)
2. myspace app (www.blackberry.com/myspace)
3. Shozu (www.shozu.com) easy uploading of pics/videos to sites such as flickr, photobucket, picasa
4. Opera mini (www.operamini.com)
5. Google Maps
6. AIM and Yahoo IM-the free apps from Blackberry are very good, if you want an all in one program with all of the IM services integrated I'd give BeeJive a shot although it's not free.
7. CaptureIt screen shot app for taking screenshots on your device (www.thetechmogul.com)
8. jMirc-good irc app for anyone who chats on irc
9. amAzeGps
10. viigo
EDIT 1/8/09: Highly recommend Slacker over FlyCast for streaming music. Go to www.slacker.com from your BB browser and download OTA. As of 1/8/09 the Storm is not supported.

Okay, I'll play along....
SoftReset - May only be limited to those with older OS versions that "leak". Site has OTA.
Windows Live Search - A pretty good vehicle (OTA Link)
Switch Audio Converter - Windows desktop download.
Benny Chow Free PacMan for BB - Need I say more? OTA link available...
Beejive - The best BB IM client, bar none. Not free, but well worth it.
More to come....
Wall Street Journal Mobile - Link to add the app OTA - Thanks member troutseth who reports it works on the Storm...Added 12/8/2008

- BBNotepad: free, easy to use app to read and write text files.
- Wall Street Journal Mobile Reader: free, super cool app. Provides WSJ content on your BlackBerry. Did I mention it is free??
Oh, yeah, and let's not forget my own BB app Viira! :-)

My favorite BlackBerry app so far is definitely BeeJive. I've never seen any IM client come close to this one for BB.

the standard IM apps from blackberry are pretty darn good and free
I agree though BeeJive is awesome. Almost as addictive as BB messenger.
