I've bypassed it for now by setting up a blackberry account and forwarding my college adress to that one.

    Thanx for the help guys!

So does your college permit mobile access to their email system? My daughter has a BB Curve and we discovered the school does not permit mobile access to the school's email system.

    LeBaronNL, two thoughts:

    1) Another EB member found he couldn't access his school email system because of a silly thing...He was entering the email address including www. When he entered it without the www prefix, it worked. You didn't list the address including that, but if you type it and include it, try leaving it off. If you aren't including it you might try it to see what happens.

    2) Go to Options > Advanced Options > Browser. What shows as the Default browser configuration? It should be BlackBerry Browser (can depend on our carrier). If it is, try using Internet Browser instead and see if there is any change.

I've managed to get the e-mail adress added to my Bold (using my computer browser), I managed this yesterday. The tip of not deleting www was the trick, that worked after several tries on the proper server. The account showed up on my Bold, and when resending the servicebooks i get those in aswell (for this account).

However: it just doesn't send/receive e-mails (for this account, the other 3 do work!). I'ts the correct e-mail account, the correct password and as far as i can tell the correct server. Something is just off, i can't figure out what??

I checked this, my default browser is Internet Browser, which seems to be my blackberry browser (other options are "Vodafone WAP", "services" and "Hotspotbrowser").

Is it possible that the server is somehow protected and that I need a password for that? Or could it be that my school had a horrible experience involving a blackberry when it was young and that it just hates them all now?
