Ya I understand that if Myspace had a leak it would affect everyone who gets the Myspace app and not just some ppl, but what I meant is I'm probably getting the applications that have leaks because every app I have has been dropping my application memory so what i'm saying is even with the "storage memory" being enough for having many applications all these "leaks" would prevent you from getting ALL the applications we want because the application memory will run low.

Do you have any themes installed? Themes can also cause leaks, not just apps.

So it appears that the App Memory is where Apps are actually installed to, not just the memory used when they run.
Again, just downloading should not use up App Memory, but installing looks like it will.
BTW...Apps like RSS feeds can be resource hogs. Are you using any and are they running in the background?

Would Viigo be a type of RSS feed?

I am going to take another crack at expaining this again using common sense. App Memory would be the equivilant of RAM on you computer. Device memory would be the equivilant of the Hard Drive on your computer. The last time I took a stab at this subject, I tried to use common sense. Thus, using common sense again would have this explination make sense. At least to me.
Think I'm sarcastic? Watch me pretend to care.

So like I said I still don't understand why some ppl say that "it's more then enough memory for apps because most apps are under 1mb" since it really does you no good to physically have the space on your "storage memory" if you can't install all the apps you might want wit out worrying about the "application memory" going too low wether it be because of memory leaks or whatever reason, It just doesnt make sense to me to think it's more then enough space, I have about 5 apps and 1 theme on my phone and my app memory never gets to where it was before I installed them even if the apps arent running and I can't enjoy my phone for more then a couple days (if that) with out having to do a BP because the "app memory" getting too low. There's more apps I'd like to put on my phone but I don't want to have to do a BP all the time or every single day to get more "application memory" I just don't want a phone that needs a BP all the time because of "application memory" but that's just me...

Its not the phone. Its the apps. And I think the reason they don't let us install apps to the card is because originally the OS wasn't designed for all these apps but now that's changed since App World. I think soon, or at least in the near future, we're going to see a bunch of improvements with these types of things. I don't think this came out the way I wanted it to. When I get on a computer and off this Pearl I'll try to expand and clarify what I was trying to say.

Ya I understand that it's not the phone but for whatever reason it could be wether it be memory leaks on apps or whatever some ppl still don't have enough room to put all the apps they want because the "application memory" will go down like crazy and you might be doing BP's more then you'd like to. I just think it sucks that I can't put all the apps I want even though physically the space is there
. I think your right about the OS and I hope we do see Improvements soon.
