    cool..and you were right...you don't need vz nav to get bb maps to work...when i called up to get vz they also had me switch the option in GPS to location on...thats what made the satellite show up! my bad for any confusion...

    its not your fault brother. it just seems that people are quick to jump on the vzw and storm sucks platform ...without investing some time. I mean i saw a review the other day where the lady blasted the storm because you can't type more than one number or put caps lock on..mean while all you have to do is hold down either number or shift key for a few seconds and it locks. ridiculoius!!
