Does anyone know how to unlock the 9530 Storm?

Hey everyone, im new to this forum and I love my Storm, and I also travel to europe alot so I was wondering if anyone knows how or where to unlock the Storm....thanks Dashiljazi@gmail.com

Hahaha i was just reading that thread, it was kind of helpful..I appreciate your help.. Ive seen sites where they charge $25-50 to send out unlock codes, but i dont want to pay that...

The 9530 verizon storm can't be unlocked by unlocking companies at this time. The only way to get the code for it is through Verizon and they will only do it after 60 days of having an account in good standing with them

Really?? I read that also but after 60 days they'll completely unlock it?? like I can put a T-mobile sim in there and everything??

Yes but it wont work with all the features here in the states from what I have read.

Really? I don't think thats 100% correct...i'm pretty sure if your going out of the country they will unlock it for you regardless of you having your account in good standing for 60 days. I may be totally wrong though, but I know I read about people calling verizon and getting it unlocked for that reason...but maybe they have been verizon customers for a while...that i can't confirm.

That's just what I have read in various places. If you have been with vzw for a while I imagine you can get a code. But new customers will probably have to wait in order to prevent people from signing up and unlocking then paying the etf and going back to at&t
