facebook texts?

Hey guys, hope someone can help me here.
I have had the blackberry storm for six months now, and use the facebook app for the storm, and all was going well.
However, when i comment on a status, or change my own status, instead of having the little mobile icon, it says 'sent via fb texts'. I have never activated this, why would i want to pay for something i can do for free! Has this happened to anyone else, and how can i stop it?

I am really an inexperience FB user, but my daughter is trying to help me, so here goes....

Using her Curve, we started the BB FB app, selected the first icon on the left, View Status Updates and once that opened, entered a status update. On my FB page I see that it showed she updated her account via Facebook For Blackberry.

We then went to the FB mobile site, m.facebook.com, entered a status change and it shows as via Mobile Texts.

Is that what you are experiencing? If so it would appear you are updating using the mobile website instead of the application, or you hit Update via SMS at the top of the mobile site.
