Using Google sync to link to Thunderbird
using Thunderbird, having abandoned Outlook, I was forced to keep 2 calendars. Then found this link (another discussion forum) that enables Thunderbird to sync with Google calendar. Now I can update on the road with my BB 8830. Wonderful!
(subsequent responses indicate that the Google Provider add-on is not needed if you use the calDAV option. I have not tried this.)
