    * If you would like to speed up the home page - hide or move icons until there is no need to scroll. Once you have done that - the highlight will follow your finger around in the whole home view

    * Regarding the edit of text - if you increase the font size it makes moving the cursor easier

    * Holding down the BB button brings up the ap switcher

    * SEND an email/SMS/MMS quickly by double tapping the BB button instead of using the send icon (does not work if a word correction is still active)

    * To see full web pages make sure your identification is set to IE or Firefox (in browser, menu--options--internet browser--identification)

    * Browsing, swiping will move the screen, single tap will bring up bars, double tap will zoom, click will select

    * Hold down green button for call list

    * To increase performance - change tap settings, swipe sensitivity, and hover

yeah man its pretty crazy there. I think there should be an age limit instituted. Not much trolling or bashing here-just legitimate problems or praise postings (so far at least). chris runs a good group of sites and tends to keep a pretty well run ship.

Yeah, I love Chris' sites. I was a pretty big contributer on everythingQ when the original came up. Tried everything HTC but that never really took off and I didn't have the phone long enough.

OH, I thought of one more thing that helps with editing. You do not have to hold down your finger directly over the cursor - you can do it to the side that way you can see the cursor change to transparent then slide it.

OK, are you trying to do within a message? There are two approaches:

    1) place a finger at the beginning of the text you want to copy - hold it there. Place a second finger at the end of the selection of text it should highlight. remove both fingers at the same time. Go to menu and pick copy.
    2) place your finger where you want to begin selecting and click then remove (you may not see a cursor) hit menu and select. now move your finger and click from that point down to highlight. Menu copy.

** Note method one is the quicker in most places - BUT method two works better in SMS (there is also a select menu item on the bottom bar in SMS)

It works very well in messages once you get used to it.

Longtime Palm user, just switched to BB and wondering: is it possible to "select all" the messages in an inbox? I get several hundred daily and dumping them one screenful at a time is taking too long.

    Select multiple messages
Again, go into your inbox, touch the top message that you want selected, then touch a message below that, all the messages in between should be highlighted. You can scroll down and the messages will continue to highlight by the lowest one you touch. Once you have all the desired messages selected, you can delete them, or move them or do whatever with them. Big time saver for clearing out that busy SMS box.
