Select multiple messages
Again, go into your inbox, touch the top message that you want selected, then touch a message below that, all the messages in between should be highlighted. You can scroll down and the messages will continue to highlight by the lowest one you touch. Once you have all the desired messages selected, you can delete them, or move them or do whatever with them. Big time saver for clearing out that busy SMS box.
It is not a one click option (that would be a nice menu addition) . . however it is better that screen by screen . . .
select first message by keeping finger on it; select bottom message with second finger. This enters the "selection mode" of the storm. You can now scroll down, selecting messages as you go until you perform an action (delete, mark opened) OR cancel selection (bottom right). I just selected every message in my box this way.

Hi Eulilie and welcome to EB:
In BBs prior to the Storm you could simply move the highlight to the date bar that you want to delete everything prior, press the menu button, and select Delete Prior.
I am not sure if the Storm OS has the equivilent, but I am sure these nice Storm users will chime in to see if there is a similar method besides having to touch, touch, hold, etc.
Enjoy your BB and your time with us.
