I had the same thing happen to me with both QP 2.0 and QP Pro. Running BB Storm v .148 software.

I solved it by myself as Steelthorn Tech support took too long to get back to me. I was ready to delete the program and just do manual battery pulls. Could not find the answer on the Steelthorn website.
The problem on the BB has to do with Permissions.

    The fix:
    Options-Advanced options-Applications-QP
    Menu key
Select Edit Permissions(They must all say "Allow")
Everything will work, but I don't know why it does.

In addition, upon first install, I could not get the time to set. The fix is
    Options-Advanced options-Applications-QP
    Menu key
    Select "disable compatibility mode"
This works but I don't know why

    Hi and welcome to EB:

Since all 5.0 versions are betas, you may either have to live with it or downgrade until there is an official 5.0 release. That is the biggest issue with "leaked" OS's. One thing may be fixed, but others may break.

Suggestion is to try uninstalling the App, do a battery pull, reinstall and check to be sure the permissions are set properly and see what happens.

    Let us all know.

Solution to QuickPull failure AFTER upgrading to BB OS v5.0

I invite anyone who recently upgraded to OS 5 and is having difficulty running QuickPull (lite or Pro) to read the solution found at: http://faq.steelthorn.com/index.php?V...
It appears to be working for my Storm 9530 running OS v5.0.0.328. NOTE you must follow the instructions to the letter.
