What is up with QuickPull?
Hello all. My phone has been pretty stable lately. Up until recently.......
My QuickPull has been acting up lately. I press "Yes", you see the clock turn, and then I see a pop-up that says, "Something went wrong. Aborting. See device log for more details." So I check the log, and see "CMM: QuickPull(2458) no sig from 0x33". Does anyone know what is going on?
I found some more messages that occurred around the same time:
a Quickpull - Reset required: false
a Quickpull - Delete status code: OK
a Quickpull - Delete status: 0
a System - CMM: delete QuickPullStub(2449.u)
Side Info:
-Running .148
-QuickPull was working fine with the current OS up until recently
-Have made no modifications nor installed/uninstalled other apps
-I had uninstalled, restarted, and re-installed QuickPull to no avail.

There may be some sort of corrupted file on the BB. You may want to reinstall the OS.
Think I'm sarcastic? Watch me pretend to care.

What version of QuickPull are you running?
Before rebuilding the OS I would suggest an uninstall of QP. Battery Pull. Install a fresh download of QP and see what happens. Don't use the same download you have been.
Make sure you check to be sure Permissions are set correctly too.
There does seem to be a number of users upgrading to .148 who experience QP issues....

About the Permissions...
Options > Advanced Options > Applications > Highlight Email Setup Application > BB Menu key > Edit Default Permissions > Make sure all are set to Allow.

This is freaking insane! I disabled the firewall (that has always been enabled!) and now QuickPull is working. WTF^^

Were the Permissions set to Allow or did you have to change them?

I am not sure if it made a difference because they were all set to Allow before I tinkered with the firewall.
