for the record, it DOES still sync with missing sync...

however, my sprint navigation is not working with this new OS.... any advice?

I'm just wondering if there is like.. a list of the little tweaks and changes with 5.0OS. And I was also wondering what doesn't work that usually does work?

Haha, I just wanna make sure it's safe to download and install before I make a big mistake even with backing it up. Just wondering.

I have not seen a list anywhere, I can say from experience that the OS is more stable, runs faster, has a faster boot time from battery pull and runs most applications that were previously compatible. It's safe, just make sure you delete the vendor.xml file before you try to install.

Aw man.. I don't dig this.

It's screwin' up my whole BB.
The only good thing I like about 5.0 is the start up time and the new threaded SMS.
How come the media screen is gone? It's now just a folder w/ all the stuff in there.
And AIM doesn't work?
Also, am I doing something wrong? Some of my apps, like the old games like breakbreaker and word mole isn't there, didn't load..

Screwing up your whole BB means exactly what?

Try a different theme, not a third party, to see if the Media Screen comes back. Which theme are you using?

AIM and BBM may not function yet. Newer versions are needed.

Your older apps/games may very well not function as 5.0 is new code. You have to check with the authors of thos apps to see if a new version is available that will operate on 5.0. If not the choice is to upgrade and lose them or stay with the old and have those apps working. Often if an app is written for older OS versions, it won't even load and that is for the protection of the OS.

BTW...I believe this .230 OS is still considered BETA. Beta software may provide unexpected results, both good and bad.....

You are correct, Media Home is not there, but that's not a deal breaker for me, I don't use AIM and I backed up my old version before loading 5.0 and Word Mole and BrickBreaker are there and working properly. BBM 5.0 is not working on BB OS 5.0 version 230, I'm using BBM 4.7 and it's working fine.

Oh okay, so I was right.. I thought I may have done everything wrong. :/
Well, I'm not a big AIM fan, just think it's nice to like.. have it there. Haha.
How do I go about having BBM4.7? There's no BBM anywhere.. and if I download it from the App Store, which I haven't checked to see if it's working yet, wouldn't it be 5.0?
