    Well...

Made the order last night, My Tour should be here some time tomorrow, I hope. XD But took a while to decided... Seeing how Sprint might get the Htc Hero, but even with Android, People are already complaining about it... Haha =p

Just a quick thing about going from WM to BB, Is there a way to copy contacts over? If it helps, Currently I am on the Moto Q9C.

    Thanks,

Best bet would be if you are using Outlook. The BB and Outlook are seamless together.

The other method would depend on what your carrier can do for you. Most can actually do the transfer using equipment at the brick and mortar locations.

If you are not an Outlook user I urge you to contact your carrier to see what they can and can't do for you. Then we will know how deep to get into it.

    Okay?

Note that before you begin that process, you have to get the contacts from your Moto Q into Outlook. I believe the Q can utilize ActiveSync to bring the Q's contacts into Outlook, but I am afraid I wouldn't know how to direct you how to do that.

Have you done anything like that before? Did you back up your contacts from the Q into any kind of a PIM program or a backup file of any type? Maybe even a Sprint online database if they have such a thing?

You can find ActiveSync here and be sure to review the compatible systems to be sure yours is listed.

I believe you will have to install ActiveSync and Outlook, sync the Q's contacts with your Outlook and then uninstall ActiveSync.

Then you would install the BB Desktop Manager and open the DM, connect your new BB to the PC and follow the installation prompts. You will be offered an option to sync with Outlook at some point during the process.

The only thing you will have to watch out for is if the Q uses noncompatible fields that won't transfer to either Outlook or to the BB. I am guessing you will see some type of an error message or stall in the sync that will give you a chance to check further.

Keep us posted and we can all learn together....

Will do, So far I love it, been setting everything up. One thing getting use to is the key placement, haha I keep hitting the esc key when I want to backspace, but that will just take time to get used to, but yeah I love the tour. XD
