In all honesty man F*CK that...talk about rip off, the screen is no better than what it was.. It constantly makes a squeeking sound, no major improvements..Another 180 just for wifi??? I look at it like a slap in the face by RIM, one of my friends went through 8 storms, then finally went to the iphone,...and after all that crap and headache with 1st storm, they just give you wifi?? no revamped screen? Im actually pretty pissed that RIM is patting them selves on the back after a craptacular performance...

After whining about the 8830's lack of memory again, my punishment was that I could not have the Sprint Tour (too expensive). They provided me with a new 8330m Curve in Red.

Pretty odd when I look at the free memory and see 47mb+. I was excited if I saw 14mb on the 8830. :dft002:amazed

Time to learn all about it. Of course a number of my third-party apps would not transfer over as they were made for the 8830.

Here we go.....:dft012:wink

Password Keeper Not Syncing....BES

Just changed from the 8830 to an 8330m on Sprint. Since I am on a corporate BES system the devices are set to Wireless Sync.

When I tried to use the Change Device Wizard, most apps with data were "Grayed Out" in the Advanced box and that indicates any item "grayed out" cannot be restored or transferred via USB as the device wirelessly syncs them......NOT!

Here is what I found as a work-around:

Disconnect from the USB cable > Options > Advanced Options > Enterprise Activation > Hold down ALT and press (and release) c-n-f-g > A new menu should pop up > Change Wireless Sync to NO

Reconnect to Desktop Manager and you should now see the option to restore whatever you want using the USB connection (ummm like Password Keeper).

You will have to reconnect to your Corporate Email Server using your exsting user name and password. You may have to do a Battery Pull for the device to reconnect to the Server Desktop, but you WILL NOT have have the Admin reactivate the device on the BES.

Ever since the VZW update, this new voice dialing is useless (at least for me). I just cannot get it to work, even after stepping through the adaptation process.

It requires last name first; which doesn't matter since it doesn't recognize the name anyway. It recognizes phone #'s, but that defeats the purpose of voice dialing.

Anyone else having problems?
