Speaking of the trackpad, I was messing around with it on the Curve 8520 and to be honest, I won't miss the trackball very much. To me, at least, there seems to be no learning curve at all. Pretty much identical to the trackball in terms of navigating the phone.

Sav, I have been seeing reports that the 85XX series has a "cheap" feel.

I haven't had an opportunity to play with one.

What did you think about the "feel"?

It doesn't have a high end feel to it, but it is better than a lot of other "cheapy" phones in the same price range. It was insanely light though-even attached to the cord on the stand at T-Mo. The one I used was obviously very used and abused. The body of the phone didn't creak or anything but the trackpad was wobbly and loose, as if someone applied waaaayyyy too much force to it.

Yeah, someone probably tried to press the BB trackball and they couldn't feel it press in so of course, press harder and harder....

    Thanks for the update...

Trackpads do press in. It works exactly the same as the trackball, except its a different form factor, I suppose.
