BlackBerry Onyx Pics!!! Spotted in the wild!!!
Is this the supposed 9900 or a different model? I hope it's the touchscreen Bold. So far, I like what I see and I've been waiting for this!
EDIT:
Few more pics:
Now this might apparently be part of the 96XX family and be going to T-Mobile. In other words, now this could be the Driftwood. It will also have the optical trackball at launch.

Hard to tell from just a picture of the back, but it has somewhat of a Storm'ish feel to it. Could be the Storm/Bold child.
Think I'm sarcastic? Watch me pretend to care.

Looks more Storm than Bold. Perhaps it's the Storm 2? Onyx code name doesn't provide any clues...

According to BGR, the Onyx (and Magnum) will be going to AT&T, so I doubt that this is the Storm 2.
Possible specs:
GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS connectivity
480 x 360 pixels display
Full QWERTY keyboard (obviously)
GPS
Wi-Fi
Camera
The Magnum is supposed to have the same specs but will have a touchscreen as well, so I guess this isn't the 9900.
EDIT: See OP for updated info.

So basically part Curve 8900 and part Bold? That's what I'm seeing. Smaller form factor, but high end specs. That's a good move. I still love the Curve form factor and people rave about the 8900.

yeah that's what I'm thinking. The Tour's guts are pretty much the CDMA version of the Bold but it seems RIM is heading more to the 8900/Storm styling cues and form factor on their newer devices which is nice other than the fact my Bold now looks like it came straight from the 90's. Zack Morris phone anyone?

I think the Bold has a slightly better processor though. I agree with you though. The Bold is starting to become outdated already... I'm not too happy about that.
