One of the reasons I decided on the Storm over the Curve. Was afraid of the TrackBall getting stuck. You don't have that issue with the Touch Screen.

But on the other hand, you have to worry about stuff getting stuck in between the screen...

true that, the otterbox is great. however i'm an au natural guy. no cases for me i prefer it naked. However, stuff getting in the cracks around my Storm's screen doesn't bother me NEAR as much as the stupid trackball on the Bold getting stuck. At first I liked the trackball but now I find it a nuisance. I'm really looking forward to trying out the 8520 and seeing how the optical trackpad functions. Hopefully it will be the beginning of the end for the trackball. I like what RIM has done with the Storm although I'd like to have some kind of pointer other than touch to select links/copy and paste things. An optical pad on the next Storm would be a nice touch.
